Taxi ploughs into a wall and leaves two injured

ALEXANDRA – According to an eye witness, Tlale Kgalemone, Emer-G-Med was present at the scene attending to the the two injured people. 


Eye witness Tlale Kgalemone said he was driving behind the taxi  when he noticed it swerving off the road during the early hours of this morning (23 October). 

The taxi drove through a wall before coming at a standstill. Kgalemane said he drove past the scene but then a few meters from there, he immediately made a u-turn after realising that there may be some injured people.

“When i got there, the lady was already out of the taxi. The taxi driver and i tried to free the man whose leg was still stuck in the front sit. we were eventually able to free him from the wreckage”.

Kgalemane also said that he called the emergency services because no one around had airtime.

The Police were not present at the scene. The home owners were also outside their house making sure that those injured were okay.

Emer G Med paramedics were called but they had not responded by the time of publication. This story will be updated once they do.
