A man who was arrested for the alleged rape of an 18-year-old girl will appear in the Alex Magistrates’ Court soon.
Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji said, “The victim was visiting a friend in the township when the suspect allegedly abducted and raped her at his place between 23rd and 26th January”.
Malatji said that she somehow escaped and sought help leading to the arrest at his home.
