Alexandra Police Station officers responded to an alleged murder incident at the corner of 1st Avenue and Vincent Tshabalalas Road on 30 August at about 8pm.
According to Alex police spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, two officers were summoned to the crime scene and on arrival, they found the body of a male lying on his back.
“The deceased had two bullets wounds in the centre of his chest and was lying helplessly on his back, not breathing,” said Mbatha. “The deceased was identified as Mzamo Ntuli from KwaZulu-Natal who had come to visit his baby’s mother at number 165-5th Avenue.”
Mbatha said the police were still investigating the murder and that the unknown suspects were still at large.
