BFA hosts future champions tourney
ALEX – The Covid-19-hit Bramley Future Champions Tournament is back and the interested teams can now register for the showdown.
The Bramley Football Association will once again host the annual Bramley Future Champions Tournament.
The second installment of the tournament was due to be held in March this year but was derailed by the advent of Covid-19.
The tournament will now take place on 21 November at Lyndhurst Primary School and the organisers of the tournament are calling on teams interested in taking part to register for the showdown, including sponsors interested in coming on board.
Founder of the association Prince Hitlers Ndlovu said he was thrilled to revive the tournament. “With the green light now given to local football to return to the soccer fields, we are delighted to announce that we have secured a venue and date for the tournament and interested teams can then register with us for the showdown.”
Ndlovu told Alex News he was looking for interested teams that would like to participate in the tournament to make contact with him. The tournament is for teams in the age division of U10, U11, U13 and U15.
Super Stars and Alex HP Stars were the only clubs that participated in the inaugural tournament in 2019 and Alex HP Stars, as the hosting team, will participate in the tournament’s second edition.
