Double rollover due to wet weather

ALEXANDRA – A 4-year-old child sustained serious care and required advanced life support intervention.

Netcare 911 responded to two separate vehivle rollovers at around 6.22am on 5 December.

The incidents took place on the N3 just after the London Road offramp in Alexandra. Reports indicate that the driver of a bakkie lost control resulting in his vehicle rolling over.

Shortly after the initial incident, the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control also resulting in a rollover.

“Three other patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated on scene before being transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.”

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
