Woman found in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds in Alex
ALEXANDRA – The deceased had two gunshot wounds on the front and at the back,
Police detectives are investigating the murder of a 30-year-old woman on 20 March in Alexandra.
Alexandra police spokesperson, Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha said Alex police officers responded to a murder complaint and on arrival a woman’s body was found in a pool of blood with cartridges next to it.

“The deceased had two gunshot wounds on the front and at the back,” said Mbatha.
Mbatha added that according to the person who alerted the police, they had parked their car at no 105-20th Avenue when they spotted the body. The deceased’s body was taken to a government mortuary.
A murder docket has been opened for further investigation.
