Realogile and East Bank off to the semi-final of SCZ school tournament
ALEXANDRA – First-half goal for both Realogile and East Bank was enough to seal the deal.
Menzi Nkhuta of Realogile sank wasteful Northview with the early-gasp winner in a 1–0 triumph, as East Bank High also dished out a 1–0 defeat to Pholosho Junior Secondary in the quarter-finals of the Sibusiso Cosmos Zwane School Tournament.
Both games were played at the 3 Square Ground in Alexandra on September 18 as Realogile and Northview were the first school teams to hit the pitch.

Realogile started the game at a fast pace as Matjie Rokunda performed some dribbling wizardry in the middle of the park to entertain the fans.
Nine minutes into the match, Northview’s goalkeeper, Arnold Nkomo, was tested after he saved a rocket shot from Meshack Tshabalala, resulting in a corner for Realogile.
Nkhuta scored a 1–0 victory with a splendid diving header after Tshabalala whipped in an in-swinger corner. After being scored, Northview controlled the ball position, creating a lot of chances to score but not converting any.

In an East Bank-Pholosho match, East Bank threatened early, as Sihle Mazibuko missed a sliding goal tackle from Ashly Simou’s cross after five minutes.
As they went ahead putting pressure on Pholosho, Prince Lebepe unleashed a rocket shot that hit the crossbar in the 30th minute. On the stroke of half-time, East Bank scored with a sublime free-kick courtesy of Lebepe’s left-flank tip.

After going into the second half with a 1–0 advantage, East Bank continued to control the ball position to close the game.
Adding to KwaBhekilanga and Minerve in the semi-finals of the Sibusiso Cosmos Zwane, are East Bank and Realogile. The semi-finals will be held on September 23 at the Three Square Ground.
