ALEXANDRA – Letsoalo thanks TLC Company for the food parcels and gesture of giving back to the community.
A food relief charity organisation has come to the rescue of struggling grannies in Alexandra who also have to fend for their grandchildren whose mothers have since passed on.
Palesa Letsoalo (32), an Alex resident and founder of non-profit organisation We Care, delivered food relief parcels to Altrek Sports Complex on October 13 for the grannies to collect.

She said the food parcels were a kind donation from TLC Company which had answered her call for food items to assist the struggling grannies and their grandchildren.
Among the items handed out included bags of mealie meal, soap, tins of jam and peanut butter, samp, toothpaste, sugar and other items.

Letsoalo thanked TLC Company for the food parcels which she described as ‘a wonderful gesture of giving back to the community’.
