Suspect shoots man for asking why he was shooting at another car
ALEX – The suspect then loaded the firearm and went straight to where the victim was standing and shot him once on the left side of his chest.
Police detectives are investigating a murder that took place in Alexandra on December 11.
According to the Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Simphiwe Mbatha, the suspect is said to have had an argument with the passengers of a car that was passing by. The suspect then fired two shots at the vehicle which drove off.
“The deceased was standing next to number 35-7th Avenue Alexandra when he asked the suspect why he was shooting and the suspect approached the victim carrying the firearm… The suspect’s friends were seated close by and the suspect went to one of them to collect a bullet. The suspect then loaded the firearm and went straight to where the victim was standing and shot him once in the left side of his chest…. Paramedics were called to the scene but they certified him dead on arrival.”
Police are looking for the suspect.
