Man with stab wound dies at local clinic

A 21-year-old man was found lying in the street, bleeding from a stab wound on the right side of his upper body in Alexandra on January 30.

Two friends of the man took him to a local clinic where he was declared dead on arrival.

According to the Alexandra police spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, a fellow sergeant said when he arrived at the clinic, he spoke to the two men who brought the deceased to the clinic after they found him bleeding.

A murder case is being investigated by the police and no one has been arrested yet.
