Two men rob and hijack driver on N3 onramp
ALEX – The victim's cellphone and laptop were also taken.
Two men hijacked a motorist on the N3 onramp in Alexandra on March 7 at about 19:00.
According to the complainant, he was on his way home from a shopping centre when he slowed down to allow the two men to pass by his vehicle on the N3 onramp.
“The two suspects pulled out firearms and forcefully opened his car before demanding the car keys. The victim did as told. The suspects drove away with his vehicle, a Chevrolet Captiva,” said Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, spokesperson of the Alex Police Station.
The victim’s cellphone and laptop were also taken. The car was later recovered.
