Covid-19 destabilises Nedbank CSI projects in Alex

ALEXANDRA -– The bank has been highly visible in the township with its CSI work but Covid-19 ruined all this, says Matloga.

Nedbank longs for the demise of the Covid-19 global pandemic so it can once again scale up its CSI projects in the community of Alexandra.

This was said by the bank’s Alex Plaza branch manager Kedibone Matloga during an interview with Alex News at the launch of their new branch that has since moved from the Pan Africa Shopping Centre to the Alex Plaza Mall.

Matloga said the bank was pinning all its hopes on the turn for the better of the global pandemic so it can re-ignite its passion of community work in the township and even take it to a new level.

“We have been highly visible in the township with our CSI work but the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic negatively affected our community work but all this will change as soon as conditions allow. Two years of Covid-19 restrictions have severely limited our visibility in the township.”
