A body with stab wounds of an unknown man was found dumped in the street by Far East Bank residents.
Community members in the vicinity of Lenin Road and Roosevelt Street made the gruesome discovery and called the police. Alexandra Police Station Commander Brigadier Lindiwe Magudulela confirmed the incident.
She said the man in his 30s was wearing a black jersey, white jacket, black trousers, black adidas takkies and black socks.
Magudulela said the investigations into the circumstances that led to the man’s death were still under investigation and anyone with information on the incident or those missing a relative were asked to contact the station.
