Alex’s Sibambisene Foundation continues to feed those in need
Sibambisene Foundation continues to take care of the most vulnerable in Alexandra.
An Alexandra-based non-profit organisation continues its weekly outreach programmes to assist those in need.
Secretary-general of Sibambisene Foundation Linda Mbatha said, “As Sibambisene Foundation, we have been doing a lot of incredible work for the community of Gauteng for the past five years.”
On April 24, the foundation provided warm meals, blankets, and food parcels to the community of Ext 9. Mbatha thanked The Angel Network, Warm The World for donating blankets, the South African Jewish Board, and other sponsors for their continued support.
Mbatha asked the community to help the foundation in its mission to feed those in need in Johannesburg. “Every week, we embark on a mission to feed thousands of people with limited means.
Our soup kitchen initiative provides hot meals and aid for those in need, but we cannot do it without your help, no matter how small can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than you. Sometimes the meal we serve is the only meal these individuals have each day.”
