Alex still waits for its next beauty queen
The Top 10 finalists of the Miss South Africa 2022 beauty pageant have been announced for the final round of the contest on August 13.
The first and last time that Alexandra had a contestant in the Miss South Africa beauty pageant was when the vivacious Boipelo Mabe broke into the limelight by being the third most beautiful lass in the land in 2017.
She has crowned the second runner-up in the competition but ever since no other Alex beauty aspirants have taken the spear of inspiration and the wait goes on.
The Top 10 finalists of the 2022 Miss South Africa pageant were paraded at Dowling Avenue Primary School and the closest to an Alexandra contestant was Soweto queen, Itumeleng Parage.
The finalists are Anarzade Omar, Ayanda Thabethe, Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Lebogang Mahlangu, Luvé Meyer, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, Pearl Ntshehi and Tamsyn Jack.
One of the young women will be crowned Miss South Africa 2022 on August 13.
