Alex pageants clean a daycare as part of their community work

Alex pageants believe cleanliness is close to Godliness and for children that's no exception.

As part of their community work, Alexandra Mr and Miss Heritage Seniors, Ntombi Mthombeni, Fikile Nkosi and Talitha Ziqubu visited the Kea Ka Molemo daycare centre to tidy it up.

Three other pageants from the same contest, Thembi Morerwa, Sibulele Hayiya, and Alexandra Mr and Miss Heritage Seniors First Princess Sibongile Baza, also joined the clean-up.

“Cleaning the creche for the children was a great experience for us, at least we ensuring the young ones will be in a clean place… we transformed lives,” she said.

Ziqubu added, “Amid this journey, we discovered that staying busy is good for one’s health. So I would tell the other grandmas in Alex to get up and find something to do, even if it is not pageants. Sitting around and doing nothing leads to poor health, especially at an old age.”

The children were visibly thrilled to have the Alex pageants present.
