Through ministering to the group of men, Tshikota said he hoped to give the men tools that could help them solve issues of conflict civilly between them and their spouses without having to resort to violent means.

“I have noticed that some of the conflicts between spouses often result from issues of infidelity, be it a husband accusing his wife of cheating or boyfriend accusing his girlfriend of having multiple relationships or vice-versa.

“We deal with serious topics around the issue of how to deal with the loss of a partner, how to deal with a stubborn partner or spouse or even issues of children brought into the home from other relationships which tends to disturb the peace of marriage or co-habiting,” Tshikota said.

Tshikota said the group is swelling with some coming from afar as Soweto and other townships. “We are currently trying to raise donations of ironing boards to hand over to the men so they could also take in assisting with home chores.”
