This formed part of the foundation’s efforts to give back to the community. “Sometimes when the community supports you, there must be something [you give] to say thank you. The whole aim is to give back to children who are in need,” Mogorosi remarked.
Carter Primary’s acting principal Hellen Seemela expressed her gratitude to the foundation. “I thank God for this day, they [Mogorosi] have done it again. These learners are the chosen ones… they are very fortunate that they are here to receive again from the good heart, where people think of the less privileged. We say glory to God. It is perfect timing because now it is winter time and we want our children to be warm, so that they can come to school to learn.”
A grateful parent Esethu Kamba thank the foundation on behalf of all the parents. “I would like emphasise the importance of this. The foundation is building a relationship with us. Some could not afford to buy what was donated. So, I would like to thank you very much.”
Looking ahead, Mogorosi said they hope to reach more communities, further the lives of more learners.
