A man, reportedly in his 40s, was found dead in his house on 4th Avenue along Florence Moposho Street in Alexandra on October 28.

According to a family member, the body was discovered lying in a pool of blood. The relative confirmed that a neighbour and one of the family members were the first to find the deceased. They alerted the police, who responded to the scene and later removed the body.

While initial reports suggest the man may have suffered stab wounds, the family said they cannot confirm this. “At the moment, we can only speculate. Yesterday we went to the mortuary, we are still waiting for information,” said one family member, who asked not to be named.

The family said that no official information regarding the cause of death has been released. They are awaiting further details from the authorities.
