Alex’s Sinothando Day Care learners venture into primary school

Sinothando Day Care learners in Alexandra’s Far East Bank are now leaving nursery school to start a new chapter of education at primary school next year.

Thirty-two kindergarten learners who will start primary school next year were treated to an unforgettable time of their lives when they were driven in a limousine to their graduation ceremony.

Sinothando Day Care principal Thandi Luruli, who started the Far East Bank creche in 2010 with only 10 children but had since grown to 150, thanked the parents who entrusted her with their children from the ages of three months right up to six years.

“I wish the children good luck as they grow and embark on yet another journey in their lives and development and right up to varsity and beyond. I will miss them dearly but I am happy for them as it is good for growth and development as well,” she told Alex News.
