Alex residents are urged to use water sparingly

Kindly note that we are aware of the water outage or low pressure in parts of Alexandra.

Johannesburg Water is experiencing power failures in most water treatment plants.

This power outage has not only affected Alexandra but also other areas within the city of Johannesburg.

Also, we request that water be used sparingly whilst the entity deals with this problem.

Councillor Adolph Marema is currently engaging with Joburg Water to dispatch roving trucks with water tanks. Areas in which the trucks will be stationed will be communicated from time to time. Kindly share the message with neighbours without WhatsApp to be on the lookout for these trucks.
