Sassa announces June grant payment days
Grant beneficiaries are encouraged to plan accordingly and ensure that their personal details are up to date before collecting their social grants.
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has released the payment dates for June 2025 social grants.
Sassa has outlined the payment schedule as follows:
- Older persons grant: Tuesday, June 3. The grant amount for June is R2 315.
- Disability grant: Wednesday, June 4. The grant amount also sits at R2 315.
- Children’s grant and other grants (foster care, care dependency, grant-in-aid, and war veterans): Payments will be made on Thursday, June 5.
The grant amounts for these categories are:
- Child support grant: R560 per child
- Foster care grant: R1 250 per child
- Care dependency drant: R2 315
- Grant-in-aid: R560
- War veterans grant: R2 335
Beneficiaries can collect their grants directly from SASSA pay points or receive them via direct deposit into their bank accounts.
