Fitpreneur and Mrs Supranational South Africa 2026 finalist uses movement to transform lives
Tsholofelo Peeters started with online workouts during Covid-19. Now, she's built a movement, transforming lives through sports and fitness.
Some use movement to sculpt summer bodies, others use it to transform lives.
Tsholofelo Peeters, a fitpreneur and Mrs Supranational South Africa 2026 finalist, does the latter. As a fitness fanatic and business owner, she has built a mission rooted in empowerment, healing, and opportunity. “I was just a fitness bunny, living my life, working out, and using fitness as my escape.”
Then Covid-19 struck. Gyms closed and people turned to her for help. She started sharing workouts online, and soon her livestream workouts blossomed into a thriving wellness community. “I took it seriously and studied personal training because I wanted to be properly equipped to help people.”

She said the feedback was overwhelming as people spoke of improved health, renewed confidence, and even breakthroughs in their mental wellbeing. “That is when I realised this was bigger than fitness.”
More so, since she also had her own challenges with anxiety. “Growing up was not always easy. Looking back, I realised that sport and exercise had always been my form of healing. I just never called it that. So, when I started opening up, people connected. They saw themselves in my story.”
Her first platform, TpeeActive, was born from a desire to help women feel comfortable and confident in their bodies. “I started TpeeActive to help women like me, with real bodies and real lives, feel comfortable and confident when they show up for themselves.”

From there, Peeters’ deeper purpose took shape in Activ8SA, a community initiative that uses sport and wellness to create opportunities for young people. She has worked with local basketball teams, initiated shoe drives, provided toiletries, and raised funds for tournaments, ensuring talented athletes gain exposure and access to life-changing opportunities.

Her work also extends to the Mr and Miss Alexandra Pageant. “We mentor queens to take care of their physical well-being, because we understand that how you feel in your body influences how you show up in the world.” She said it was through the partnership with the pageant, that the first Activ8SA ambassador was selected, and with the help of Activ8SA, she was equipped with tools to continue her wellness journey.
At the heart of Peeters’ mission is the belief that movement heals. Whether it’s on the basketball court, the pageant stage, or at the annual Activ8SA Mental Health & Wellness Event, she brings communities together to raise awareness and promote healing through activity.
Peeters said the Mrs Supranational stage is not a new beginning; it is an extension of her mission. “This is not about starting something new. It is about walking boldly in the purpose I have already been living, with more clarity, more intention, and a bigger platform to amplify it.”
