Two suspects shot after an alleged hijacking incident in Alexandra
Two suspects have been shot and apprehended following an alleged attempted hijacking at the corner of Florence Mophosho and Pretoria Main roads, while two other suspects are on the run.
Two suspects were shot and wounded, and two others fled, following an alleged vehicle hijacking at the busy intersection of Florence Mophosho and Pretoria Main roads on Tuesday.

One of the officials who responded to the scene said preliminary reports indicate that four men attempted to hijack a vehicle along Pretoria Main Road, when they were intercepted by a private security officer. Two of the alleged hijackers were shot and apprehended, one near the scene, and another who went down Florence Mophosho Road was arrested on 4th Avenue.
Emergency services were on site attending to the wounded and multiple cartridges were recovered from the location.

Police have not yet released an official statement on the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
