DJ Arch Junior charms McDonald’s footballers
ALEXANDRA - The township's world-acclaimed DJ wonder kid, DJ Arch Junior, mesmerises young footballers at a tournament.
Football took a backseat when Alexandra’s own DJ wonder kid took to the decks at the McDonald’s U14 Football Festival held at the uMhlathuze Central Sports Complex in Richards Bay.
Players from various provincial teams abandoned their games for a few minutes during their half-time breaks to rush to the stage to witness the world’s youngest DJ doing what he knows best, using his nimble fingers to spin the hits.

DJ Arch Junior enthralled the young and aspiring football stars who converged at the complex for the provincial festival in a battle for a spot in the national finals. The footballers also danced their hearts out to the amazing spins of DJ Arch Junior while others looked baffled by the abilities of the world-acclaimed toddler who can hardly string a sentence together, but can spin the decks like a pro.

The three-year-old Phase Two resident in Alex, whose real name is Oratilwe Madumo, pumped up the volume in the company of his proud father, Glen Hlongwane.

Grey College from Bloemfontein was crowned Free State champions and earned the right to represent the province in the national finals, while KwaZulu-Natal will be represented by Dr John Langalibalele Dube High School in KwaMashu in Durban.
