SAA warns against “Free ticket” scam

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience or confusion caused."

South African Airways (SAA) warned consumers not to fall for a scam in which they are promised free air tickets.

“FlySAA would like to dispel the ‘ competition’ that has been circulating on social media under our name. We are not currently running a competition where you can win two tickets. We are not affiliated with the people behind this as well.

“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience or confusion caused. In future, please refer to our official social media channels for credible information.”

Thank you, #FlySAA” was posted to the group’s Facebook page yesterday.
