EdTech Google ready to amplify learning

The summit was attended by over 150 educators.

An EdTech Google Summit was held at Sacred Heart College on May 18 to 19.

The two-day summit focused on deploying, integrating, and using Google Suite for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in Grade R to 12 and higher education.

The keynote speaker, Ken Shelton from the EdTech team, spoke about how Google can amplify learning and be beneficial to both learners and educators.

The summit was attended by over 150 educators.

Jeppe Boys educator Robert Faltermeier also attended the EdTech Google Summit at Sacred Heart College on May 18 and 19.

Companies with products that support e-learning had stalls to share with educators what innovative and multi-functional solutions they have for the classroom to support e-learning.

Educators were impressed by what they learned from the summit.

Sacred Heart College is already using e-learning in the school and believes it is beneficial to learners as it enhances their learning.

Fifty staff members from Sacred Heart attended the summit.
