Mpact Recycling brought its knowledge about recycling to Bedfordview on March 1, to encourage the community to be more conscious about recycling.

Donna-Mari Noble, communications manager, said Mpact will be spreading awareness of multi-recycling for the next four months in Bedfordview.

This will be done via mall activations where residents can ask questions about home recycling.

Along with mascot Ronnie Recycle, Mpact handed out green bags for recycling paper and a clear bag for recycling plastic bottles, cans and glass bottles to name a few.

“We encourage the residents of Bedfordview to support multi-recycling. We feel that Bedfordview is a very willing community to do their bit for recycling,” said Noble.

Noble said the Ronnie green bags are collected in Bedfordview every Friday, and from March 1, they have also been collecting the clear bags.

Mpact Recycling was at Bedford Centre on March 15 and 16.
