Competition on day three of the 2026 Ken Short Water Polo Festival got off to a fierce start when St Stithians College faced Durban High School.
Saints opened the scoring early and quickly followed up with a second goal, establishing dominance from the outset.

Durban High School showed determination, putting up a fiery defence, but they were no match for St Stithians’ relentless offence, which added a third goal to close the first half 3-0.

The second half saw Durban High School return with renewed attacking efforts, testing Saints’ resolve.
St Stithians narrowly missed a goal that was saved by Durban’s keeper, but a quick regroup allowed Saints to score again, bringing the score to 4-0 with five minutes remaining.
Another offensive push secured two more goals for St Stithians, taking the score to 6-0.
With just 30 seconds to go, Durban High School managed their first point, ending the match 6-1.
