Support Keurboom and win a trip
Mrs Zahn Hughes, a Kensington resident, is hosting a Cuppa for Cansa fundraising event in aid of the Keurboom Care Home on September 7.
The event will take place at the Kensington Community Centre in Rhodes Park at 10am.
Visitors can look forward to prize draws, a mini auction, a spring tea party and entertainment.
The main prize is a weekend for two at Sun City, with bed and breakfast included, to the value of R6 500.
Famed Bedfordview jewellery designer, Elizabeth Staples, is providing two pieces of her sought-after jewellery as prizes.
An Italian-designed, and tanned, woman’s leather jacket will be auctioned.
The organisers need hostesses to host a table of eight, including themselves, at R100 per ticket.
