Local businesses join Cuppa for Cansa
Several local businesses have come on board to support a Cuppa for Cansa event being hosted by Kensington resident, Mrs Zahn Hughes.

The event will be held at the Kensington Community Centre in Rhodes Park on September 7. The cuppa will be compèred by Mr Nick van Tonder, an author and life coach.
There will be prize draws, a mini auction, a spring tea party and entertainment by acclaimed South African poet and artist, Lionel Murcott. There will also be a surprise act by local artists.
The main prize is a weekend for two at Sun City to the value of R6 500. Entry into the draw is R20 each.
Various business owners in Kensington and surrounds have donated prizes. Visitors stand a chance of winning a coffee hamper from Caffiain, Rusty Lady Deli Bistro vouchers, flowers gifts from Country Flowers, fragrance hampers from Scentilicious, Avon products from Katija Mahmood, goodies sponsored by Sherida Properties and Its Corporate, and jewellery from Swiss Bedfordview-based jewellery designer, Elizabeth Staples.
Pretoria graphic artist and jewellery designer, Lize Fourie has also donated an art piece and jewellery for a prize draw and Purple Pumpkin Himalayan Clothing is donating a gift for a lucky guest.
An Italian-designed and tanned woman’s leather jacket and wrought iron work by Caren Steyn, from Flaming in Kensington, will be part of the mini auction as well as.
