The biker caught on camera recklessly speeding through the streets of Edenvale with a young child wearing only a bicycle helmet will face charges of reckless and negligent driving as well as child endangerment.

Vice-chairperson for the Edenvale Community Police Forum (ECPF) Mrs Sheryl Damerell confirmed to the NEWS this morning that charges have been laid against the biker.

This morning the video clip which was uploaded on YouTube on Monday already recorded over 110 000 views.

When the NEWS reported the incident on Tuesday the clip had been viewed over 6 000 times and had been shared across various social media platforms.
