Moth parade and fête
The Dickie Fritz Moth Parade and fête is not to be missed on November 2.
Dickie Fritz Cottages, a branch of the Moth Ex-Servicemen’s Cottage Association (MESCA) for the aged, will hold a Sidi Rezegh Remembrance Parade.
The event will take place at the Dickie Fritz Complex, 115 Dickie Fritz Avenue, Dowerglen extension 3. Gates open at 9am and the parade starts at 11am.
There will be a tea garden, food stall, flea market, white elephant stall, live entertainment, refreshments, children’s entertainment, dog show and more.
Flea market tables are available at R150 per table and bookings must be done in advance.
Proceeds from the event will go to MESCA for the running of the complex. Donations for the fête, or goods that can be sold in the white elephant stall, are welcome.
