St Andrew’s triumphs at SANESA

St Andrew’s School for Girls recently participated in the Ekurhuleni Region of the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) competition.

The girls competed in Category G, which is a school that has 21 or more horse and rider combinations.

The school won the trophy for Category G after accumulating an astounding 24 675 points, with the core league disciplines including jumping, dressage, equitation, performance riding, working riding, working hunter and prix caprelli.

The riders competed in four regional qualifiers according to their level of riding. The top eight riders in each class then competed at the provincial finals. This year, the top 12 riders in each class at the provincial finals were then selected to compete for their province at the SANESA National Championships.
