Two suspects have been arrested for theft out of a motor vehicle and for being in possession of stolen property.
The incident occurred at the corner of Bedford and Raleigh streets on October 18.
“The victim parked his vehicle at the gate of a house and when he returned, he found a window had been smashed and the car radio had been removed,” said Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville SAPS.
A docket of theft out of a motor vehicle was opened and through further investigations, the officers traced the suspects and found them in possession of the stolen radio.
They are expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon.
