Three pupils at Assumption Convent who wrote the Independent Examinations Board matric final examination obtained eight distinctions each.
Results were as follows:
Kirsten Whitlock obtained distinctions in Afrikaans, English, geography, history, life orientation, life sciences, mathematics, maths paper 3 and physical science. Kirsten was placed on the Independent Examinations Board’s (IEB) outstanding achievement list and top one percent in Afrikaans, English, geography, life sciences and life orientation.
Kayla Mynheer obtained distinctions in Afrikaans, English, drama, life orientation, life sciences, physical science, maths paper 3 and mathematics.
Rena Joao obtained distinctions in Afrikaans, English, accounting, life orientation, life sciences, mathematics, maths paper 3 and physical science.
