Association seeks new members

The group encourages elderly community members to come for tea one Thursday to see what the group is all about.

The Bedfordview Association for the Elderly will meet for tea every Thursday at 9am in the James Sadie Auditorium on Hawley Road, Bedfordview.

Ms Dot Hill, a member of the Bedfordview Association for the Elderly said, “We would like to welcome new members and we urge older people to consider joining us.

“The association is certainly not exclusive to the elderly of Bedfordview. We have hosted talks by Stroke Aid and Hospice and we have taken trips to Scottburgh, Badplaas and Namaqualand.”

The group encourages elderly community members to come for tea one Thursday to see what the group is all about.

Elderly residents can join the Bedfordview Association for the Elderly for R60 a year.
