HRS to ride for a purpose

The event will culminate in a JMPD-supervised motorbike rally from Holy Rosary School to Hartebeespoort Dam on March 30.

Holy Rosary High School recently launched its Ride for a Purpose campaign.

Ride for a Purpose is an outreach and community event, aimed at raising awareness of domestic violence.

The event is spearheaded by Holy Rosary School debutante and Grade 10 pupil, Amy Driver, to commemorate her aunt who was stabbed to death by her husband in 2010.

The event will culminate in a JMPD-supervised motorbike rally from Holy Rosary School to Hartebeespoort Dam on March 30.

The charity which will benefit from this initiative will be the Jes Foord Foundation.
