The project aims at keeping the area clean.

Mrs Dianna Delmont, who is a resident in Frances Street, and who helped initiate the project, described it as a self-help project.

“We are trying to create a caring community. We hope we can reach an agreement with them to come here at least once a month,” said Mrs Delmont.

“I will speak to the principal of the school in an attempt to educate the pupils and some parents about the importance of keeping the area clean,” said Mrs Delmont.

She said she hopes the project will be extended into other streets. “We want to grow to other streets such as Regent Street and others, so that we can keep the area as clean as possible,” said Mrs Delmont.
