Two of the suspects were in possession of firearms. They pointed their firearms at the man and demanded money.
The Jeppe SAPS is looking for five suspects who pointed firearms and attempted to rob a shop on December 16 in Doornfontein.
Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said a man alleged that he was at his game and entertainment shop in End Street when five men entered.
“Two of the suspects were in possession of firearms. They pointed their firearms at the man and demanded money. The man said he screamed for help. The suspects panicked and ran away without taking anything,” said W/O Munyai.
Some of the man’s friends who heard him scream followed the suspects and saw them running into a flat in Davies Street.
