Swimming, diving tournament held

St Andrew’s School for Girls held its annual inter-house swimming and diving tournament on February 18.

A number of internal records were broken.

Milner house broke its own record of 2:46:92, which was obtained in 1983, in the 4×50 metre U/15 breaststroke relay. The new record is 2:41:02.

Milner house set a new record, 2:07:96, in the 4×50 metre U/15 freestyle event. Milner house beat Athlone house’s record of 2:08:08 obtained in 1999.

The Erin Anderson house also broke a record in the 50 metre U/15 backstroke event when it finished in 34:52. The team beat Claire Archibald house’s 2004 record of 34:53.
