Eskom suspended all load shedding on March 6 at 10pm.

Despite this, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) will remain on high alert and implement load shedding as and when requested.

Residents are asked to keep load shedding schedules handy and to prepare for the time when they will not have electricity.

Even during times of load shedding, residents are reminded to treat all electrical points as live.

The load shedding schedules which were uploaded onwww.ekurhuleni.gov.za in May 2013 are applicable should load shedding be implemented.
