The Bedfordview domestic workers’ forum meeting took place on February 26 at the Methodist Church in Bedfordview.

The meeting featured key speakers Ms Karen Pereira and Ms Karen de Beer from Crime Scene Clean-up, who informed the domestic workers of the universal precautions and preparation to clean up a crime scene once the investigations are complete. The speakers, who specialise in homicide, accident, suicide, unattended death clean ups also highlighted the various equipment and sanitation products that go into cleaning a crime scene and touched on the steps a domestic worker can take towards dealing with the effects of seeing a traumatising crime scene.
