SPCA raises funds at luncheon

The luncheon saw bidders partake in an auction of artwork from students at Bishop Bavin School and other hamper prizes.

The SPCA’s Charity Luncheon Fundraiser was held at the Kong Sing Restaurant in the Bedford Centre Bedfordview on Sunday, March 2.

“We extend a huge thank you to the community for supporting this event and affording us the opportunity to raise much-needed funds, which have already been allocated towards the newly installed small adoption dogs kennel gates and frames and some minor kennel floor repairs. Community members and supporters of the SPCA are welcome and encouraged to visit our kennels to see where the funds raised are put to good operational use,” said the SPCA manager, Mr Laurence Kingston. The luncheon saw bidders partake in an auction of artwork from students at Bishop Bavin School and other hamper prizes.
