Julia, a 400 metre South African champion

Julia Lutz, an Assumption Convent School pupil, won a gold medal at the 2014 South African Schools’ National Athletics Track and Field Championships held in Polokwane recently.

Julia came first in the 400 metre final.

Julia is now the U/15 Girls 400 metre South African champion.

Together with three other U/15 Gauteng girls, Julia won a gold medal for the 4×100 metre relay.

She was also to compete in the 200 and 400 metre events at the Athletics South Africa (ASA) South African sub-youth, youth, junior and U/23 championships in Stellenbosch from April 3 to 5.

At the time of going to print, her results were not known.
