Resident impressed with fire station’s friendliness

Bedfordview resident Mr Paul Marsh commended the Bedfordview Fire Station following a visit on Saturday, March 29.
“I recently took my four-year-old grandson to the Bedfordview Fire Station on a Saturday afternoon and, like all little boys, he was so excited,” said Mr Marsh.
“We enquired at the reception if we could have a quick look around. We were invited in and given the most magical tour of one of the fire trucks. The staff was friendly and engaging, not only was my grandson wide-eyed with excitement, I was impressed with their professionalism and dedication to duty,” said Mr Marsh.
“While getting the personalised tour, the station received a call-out to a motorbike accident on the highway. Without hesitation, the crew donned their gear, jumped into the trucks and sped off with sirens blaring, giving my grandson a wink and a wave as they left,” said Mr Marsh.
“We did not have a chance to say thank you, but I feel public recognition for these dedicated people can be shown,” said Mr Marsh.
