Entrepreneurship workshop at Yeoville library

The workshop will run from 10am until 1pm and is free of charge. The workshop will focus on how to go about starting a business.

The Yeoville Library will host an Entrepreneurial Workshop on May 28.

The workshop will run from 10am until 1pm and is free of charge. The workshop will focus on how to go about starting a business.

“There will be a particular focus on issues of compliance with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) legislative framework, funding from the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) for businesses and how to go about writing a tender in the construction industry,” said Mr Johannes Masenya, the senior librarian at the library. He said the workshop is open to the public and residents will get to know the procedures involved when lodging a tender in the City of Johannesburg.

“Most people already have businesses that are up and running. A good understanding of how things work will go a long way in ensuring their businesses flourish,” said Mr Masenya. He added that the writing of a business plan will be included in the workshop. The Yeoville Library is situated at 51 Raleigh Street. For more information, call 011 487- 1390. @JoburgJourno
