Acclaimed author to speak at library
The Friends of Modderfontein Library will host a literary coffee morning on Friday, June 27.

The guest speaker will be Ms Leanne Hunt. Ms Hunt is the author of Jozi Gold, a contemporary women’s fiction novel about infidelity and life-affirming choices.
She is passionate about personal growth. Notwithstanding the fact that she became legally blind at the age of 17, Ms Hunt achieved an Honours degree with a distinction in English from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
A Johannesburg resident, she is a qualified crisis counsellor and believes the loss of her sight has given her a deeper compassion for other people. Ms Hunt will have books available for residents to purchase, which she will be happy to sign.
The event takes place at the Modderfontein Library in Queen Street, Modderfontein. Refreshments will be served at 9.30am and the talk will begin at 10am. The cost is R20 per person and residents are welcome.
