Constable Thabo Malatji, the Hillbrow cluster SAPS spokesperson, said police officers received a call from a person in Cape Town informing them that his stolen tablet device was sending signals from a property in Cyrildene.
“Police officers went to a property in Rollo Street to investigate. They found a man in possession of the tablet device. He could not explain how he had obtained it. Further investigations established that it was reported stolen at the Milnerton SAPS in Cape Town,” said Const Malatji.
The man was arrested and is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
