Bedfordview Reddam House Grade 7 pupils, Ethan Benjamin, Michael Ward and Aiden Rabinowitz, won the Gauteng section of the Nickelodeon Maths and Science quiz held recently.
The quiz was launched by Nickelodeon and Melrose Cheese to encourage South African children to learn more about the educational subjects.
Various schools in Johannesburg and Cape Town were invited to submit a team of three students, aged between nine and 13 to compete against each other and demonstrate their knowledge, speed and precision in the two subjects.
Ethan, Michael and Aiden will now go up against the winners of the Western Cape schools in the finals in July. In the process, they stand a chance of winning a five day trip to NASA and a stay at the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando.
